He was aged 85 at the time of his demise.
He has passed away while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo.
Deshamanya Dr. Lalith Kotalawala made a valuable contribution to the Sri Lankan economy by becoming the owner of a renowned business network in Sri Lanka.
Funeral arrangements of Dr. Lalith Kotelawala are to be announced later.
