He expressed concerns about a possible conspiracy behind the recent issues.

The problem arose when preparations were made to implement a new adjustment, canceling the 3% discount previously given to fuel distributors.

Since this morning, fuel has been released as usual from various storage terminals across the country.

Fuel sales have continued from filling stations across the country, including Colombo and other regions, without any queues or shortages.

The Petroleum Distributors' Association has decided to inform the President about their issues. They are currently at the Presidential Secretariat to deliver a message outlining their concerns to the President.

A meeting between fuel distributors and government representatives is scheduled for tomorrow to discuss the ongoing issues. The Petroleum Distributors' Association has confirmed that they will attend the meeting at 9 AM tomorrow, as informed by the Chairman.
