People who violated self-quarantine will be prosecuted; Police
Colombo (News 1st); 77, 531 people are currently under self-quarantine across the country, said Deputy Police Chief Ajith Rohana.
The Police Spokesperson said these individuals are from 28, 472 families adding their movements are monitored by the Sri Lanka Police and the Health Authorities.
However, it was reported several people had violated the quarantine order, said Sri Lanka Police adding the movable and immovable properties used by the violators will be seized by the authorities in terms of the Quarantine and Prevention of Diseases Ordinance.
