Suspect Arrested with Illegal Firearms in Ratnapura
Sri Lankan Authorities have apprehended a suspect in the Kehelovitigama area of Alapatha, Ratnapura, after he was found in possession of six locally-made firearms.
The illegal weapons were discovered during a raid conducted by officers from the Special Task Force at the Kahawatte camp.
In addition to the firearms, the suspect was also in possession gunpowder and ball bearings, which have been seized by the authorities.
