Vegetable prices in Sri Lanka skyrocketed on Tuesday (16) to unexpected levels.
1 kg of Carrots was priced at Rs. 2000/-.
1 kg of Beans was priced at Rs. 1000/-
1 kg of Green Chilli was priced at Rs. 800/-
These prices were confirmed by the All Ceylon Economic Center Trader's Association
