
Retirement Age of Doctors Extended to 63 Years
An extraordinary gazette has been issued extending the retirement age of doctors to 63 years.
The gazette was signed by the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government Dr. A.H.M.H. Abayarathna.
The Cabinet approval was given to extend the retirement age of doctors to 63 years recently.
The related gazette notification has been issued, effective from January 1, 2023.
