SLCERT issues High Level threat alert for 12 software
The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) has issued a high level threat of possible attacks by Chinese hackers on various software.
Issuing a statement, the SLCERT said that multiple vulnerabilities have been identified by the US National Security Agency (NSA).
As per the NSA, the attackers typically use the same process as other sophisticated actors: they first gather technical data, identify vulnerabilities linked to the target, develop or reuse an exploit, and then launch their attack operation.
SLCERT said that nearly 12 software, including Windows Systems, Windows Servers, Adobe ColdFusion, and Oracle WebLogic Server have been affected.
