Burial of COVID bodies: Pakistan PM welcomes official notification
The Pakistan Prime Minister who recently visited the country has thanked the Sri Lankan Government for allowing the burial of COVID infected patients that succumb to the illness.
Sharing a message on Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated, "I thank the Sri Lankan leadership & welcome the Sri Lankan govt's official notification allowing the burial option for those dying of Covid 19."
The Gazette Notification allowing both cremation and the burial of bodies infected COVID-19 was issued yesterday (25) night.
Prime Minister Khan completed a two-day visit to Sri Lanka on 24 February.
