Body of a 16-year-old girl, found lying on railway tracks near hotel in Kalutara.
A body of a 16-year-old girl was found close to a railway line behind a Hotel on Galle Road in South Kalutara. According to the police, the victim had checked into the hotel yesterday along with another woman and two men and had reportedly found accommodation in two separate rooms.
Investigations revealed that one of the couples had left their accommodation later, following which the victim's body was discovered on the road. The couple that had arrived with the victim and the suspect has been arrested on suspicion of the incident.
Investigations are underway to nab the suspect who fled with the victim.
