Police seize motorcycles and lorries for reckless driving - Western Province
Police have seized 28 motorcycles and 3 lorries during a special operation covering the Western Province yesterday.
Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon stated that cases have been filed against 128 persons for reckless driving of vehicles motorcycles and another 57 persons for speeding.
Special traffic operations have been launched to reduce the number of fatal accidents and 4962 buses, tippers and motorcycles have been inspected during the period.
