Sri Lanka’s young contestants will compete keenly through many stages over six months, including Blind Auditions, Battles, Sing-offs, Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Final.
“The Voice Kids is a first in The Voice series, which has proven to be highly popular among audiences of all ages. Already, The Voice Sri Lanka and The Voice Teens have delivered record results as the most watched TV shows in Sri Lankan history,” said Chandana Sooriyabandara, CEO of Stein Studios.
Chevaan Daniel, Group Director of CMG, noted that a major reason for Sirasa to invest in The Voice Kids global franchise is because it was an investment in the future of Sri Lanka. "This isn't just for 2023. The kids who will contest will be given a platform for the future. And will inspire others to think big".
The fortunate young contestants will be trained by the experienced stars Dr. Pradeep Rangana, Nadini Premadasa, Harshana Dissanayaka, and Uresha Ravihari. The programme will be compered by popular singer Natasha Perera.
