Court orders cremation of corona infected bodies from the Mahara prison riots
The Wattala Magistrate's Court has ordered the cremation of four prisoners who died in the Mahara Prison incident.
This was when a case was taken up before Wattala Magistrate Buddhika Sri Ragala today.
Three out of four bodies were identified as corona infected.
Eleven people were killed in the incident and postmortem examinations are to be carried out on the remaining three bodies.
