Election Commission & Police Commission to assume duties today
The new members of the National Election Commission as well as the Police Commission are set to assume duties today (10).
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa appointed Nimal Punchihewa as the new Chairman of the Election Commission, while other members include M.M. Mohamad, S.B. Divaratne, K.P.P. Pathirana and Jeewan Thiyagaraja.
