Strict rules to be imposed on school canteens.
The Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors' Union says strict rules and regulations will be imposed on school canteens.
Vice President of the PHI’s Union K.A.P. Boralessa said that a rise in non-communicable diseases was reported, especially among school children.
Boralessa added that the regulations at school canteens will be intensified, to ensure the diseases aren’t spread among the students.
