PHIs raid Candy shops in Kandy selling expired products.
The consumer affairs authority along with the Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) raided shops in Kandy selling food items not suitable for human consumption.
The team found a Candy shop in the City selling several expired items as well as products which did not have a valid detail on the ingredients or details of the local importers.
