Actress Sana Khan, who was seen opposite Silambarasan TR in Silambattam (2008) got married to Mufti Anaas in a low profile ceremony in Gujarat. A video of the wedding has gone viral on the internet. In the video, Sana and her husband are seen walking hand-in-hand down the stairs and later cutting a cake that has Nikaah Mubarak written on it. While Sana is seen dressed in a white gown, Mufti is seen in a white kurta and pyjama.
Sana Khan had recently bid adieu to her showbiz career. The actress had announced the decision on her social media page and deleted all the pictures that connected to showbiz. The actress had written that she wanted to serve humanity and follow the orders of the creator. She added that she was pondering over the real purpose of her existence. “Is the real purpose of man’s coming into this world only to chase wealth and fame? Isn’t it a part of his/her duty to spend his/her life in the service of those who are needy and helpless? Shouldn’t a person think that he/she could die at any moment? And what will happen to him after he/she is no more? I have been searching for answers to these two questions for a long period of time, especially the second question as to what will happen to me after my death?”

Sana had also acted in films like Thambikku Endha Ooru, Payanam, Thalaivan and was last seen in Ayogya.
