Is THIS the reason why Mohan Raja stepped out from 'Andhadhun' Tamil remake?
The latest report of Mohan Raja stepping out from 'Andhadhun' Tamil remake has surprised the fans. Mohan Raja fans are confused about the director's decision and a lot has been talked about the same on social media. Mohan Raja had done 'Thani Oruvan', but later he stopped doing remakes. However, the announcement of Mohan Raja doing 'Andhadhun' Tamil remake with actor Prasanth had surprised the fans.
Reportedly, Mohan Raja has signed to do a Telugu film with 'RRR' actor Ram Charan in the lead role, and he will be doing the film before commencing 'Thani Oruvan 2' with Jayam Ravi. So, he had probably dropped plans of doing a remake again. Mohan Raja had conveyed his decision to the makers about opting out of the project and they have sorted the issue. Though the decision has come as a shocker to Mohan Raja's fans, the director has already made up his mind on not doing any remakes from now onwards.
Actor Prasanth's father and filmmaker Thiagarajan who brought the Tamil remake rights of 'Andhadhun' has roped in 'Ponmagal Vanthaal' director JJ Fedrick as a replacement for Mohan Raja. It is worth noting that Thiagarajan has played the antagonist in JJ Fedrick's court drama 'Ponmagal Vanthaal'.
