Three of yesterday’s five Covid-19 deaths were from Colombo
The Covid-19 death toll in Sri Lanka rose to 53 following five more deaths yesterday (13).
According to the Government Information Department, three of them were from within the Colombo municipality area.
Among them was a woman from Colombo 14, aged 83 years, who died in her home due to high blood pressure, diabetes and Covid-19.
The other two deaths, both men, are from Colombo 13.
One was a 78 year old, whose cause of death was a heart ailment and Covid-19.
The third, aged 64 years, had had asthma and Covid-19.
Of the two other deaths during the day, one was of a 68 year old man from Chilaw.
He died at the IDH due to high blood pressure and brain hemorrhage following Covid-19 infection.
The other was a 69 year old from Ratmalana, who had been pronounced dead on admission at hospital, due to high blood pressure, diabetes and Covid-19.
