‘Welivita Sudda’ Arrested in Kaduwela
Sri Lanka Police arrested a member of an organized criminal gang, known as Welivita Sudda, in the Kaduwela area.
The suspect, a 47-year-old male, was found in hiding at a residential property in the Welivita area of Kaduwela.
Upon his arrest, the police reportedly discovered 15 grams and 300 milligrams of a substance believed to be 'Ice', a potent form of methamphetamine, in his possession.
In addition to drug-related charges, the suspect is also facing serious allegations of murder and illegal possession of firearms. The police are continuing their investigations into these allegations.
