Sri Lanka to get US$ 1500 million from China
Secretary to the Ministry of Finance S. R. Attygalle speaking to Sirasa News1st has said that Sri Lanka will be obtaining US$ 1500 million in loans from China this month.
Finance Secretary went on to note, discussions are underway with respect to obtaining currency swap facilities from China and India.
Earlier this week Sri Lanka settled a US$ 400 million swap facility with the Reserve Bank of India.
US$ 1.5 billion fresh currency swap arrangement is being worked out with the People’s Bank of China
