No PET scans at NHSL from today (20) -Radiological Technologists
The Government Radiological Technologists Association (GRTA) said PET scans cannot be conducted at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka from Wednesday (20).
GRTA President Chanaka Dharmawickrama said the reason for this is the shortage of radiology officers.
When inquired by News 1st Deputy Director General of Health Services Dr. G. Wijesuriya said radiology technicians who have completed their training will be deployed to resolve the issue, based on the directives issued by the Minister of Health.
