11,000 cases - 54 deaths in the past week
During the past week 11,000 cases of Covid 19 have been reported in the country.
In addition, 54 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past week.
Meanwhile, the highest number of daily cases were reported from this country yesterday (03).
The number of infected people reported yesterday was 1,923. This is a case for evey 45 seconds.
Accordingly, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 113,676.
In addition, the total number of corona deaths increased to 709 with 13 more covid deaths being reported in the country yesterday (03).
Meanwhile 09 Grama Niladhari Divisions in 05 districts were isolated this morning (04).
