Police sergeant who tried to open fire on Chilaw CI, arrested
A sergeant of the same police station who was preparing to shoot at the Chief Inspector of Chilaw Police was arrested.
The Police Media Division stated that the sergeant had attempted to open fire with his pistol based on an incident related to work.
Several other police officers had prevented it and the relevant sergeant was arrested
