Random Covid test should be conducted in commercial cities - PHI
The total number of coronavirus deaths in the country increased to 544 with six more deaths being reported yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Public Health Inspectors Association states that as the risk of coronavirus may increase with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season and therefore, steps should be taken to conduct random coronavirus tests in commercial cities throughout the island.
Its secretary Mahendra Balasuriya told Hiru news team that patients who do not show any symptoms can remain in the society.
