Body of missing fisherman found in Nagadeepa
The body of one of the two fishermen who went missing off the island of Delft in Jaffna was found on the shores of the Nagadeepa Islands last evening (23), the Jaffna Delft Police stated.
Gnanasingam Ramesh, 41, and Ranjan Mayan, 19, both residents of Delft, Jaffna, went missing while fishing on 21 February, police said.
The body of a 19-year-old who went missing was found dumped on the beach in the Sixth Lane area of Delft Island, Jaffna.

Navy officials and fishermen in the area are conducting a search operation to find the other missing fisherman.
It is suspected that the vessel of the missing fishermen has capsized and the Delft Police and the Jaffna Fisheries Inspector's Office are conducting further investigations into the incident
