Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 755 COVID patients, the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 369 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 124 cases were reported, while 80 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 23,449 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 12,292 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 4,624 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 59,922, while 51,046 have recovered with 8,588 still receiving treatment.
