'Appoint another suitable person for UNP National Organizer' - Navin Dissanayake
Former MP Navin Dissanayake stated that he will not oppose the appointment of another suitable person to the post of National Organizer of the United National Party (UNP).
Addressing a letter to Party Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, he said that although the Working Committee had recently offered him the post of National Organizer, he was not opposed to giving it to another person.
He also stated that he would like to continue working as the Nuwara Eliya District Leadership and Working Committee Member of the UNP.
The letter further states that he is grateful for the support extended to him by the UNP Leader, who has been a Member of Parliament, Deputy Minister and Cabinet Minister since 2000.
