Kattankudi Police Division and 11 Grama Niladhari Divisions in Kalmunai isolated
The Government Information Department stated that the Kattankudi Police Division and 11 Grama Niladhari Divisions in Kalmunai have been isolated with immediate effect.
These areas are isolated due to the spread of corona.
The notification signed by the Director General of the Government Information Department Nalaka Kaluwewa states that the Grama Niladhari Divisions of Kalmunai namely one, one C, one E, two, two A, two B, three and three A as well as Kalmunai Kudi 1, 2, 3 have been isolated.
Out of the 597 corona infected people reported from the island yesterday (31), 63 were identified in the Batticaloa district.
