RAT tests so far find 41 Covid-19 cases
Rapid antigen tests for persons leaving the western province have so far found 41 Covid-19 patients, says police media spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana.
These tests are taking place at 11 locations and the DIG urges the public to assist in the task.
One person tested positive at RAT tests that were carried out at the exit to the Colombo-Katunayake expressway.
With one more death reported yesterday (26), the fatalities rose to 187.
The caseload stands at 40,380 with the finding of 598 new cases during the day.
Of them, 32,051 have recovered, including 712 who were discharged and left for home yesterday.
