Support sought for visually-impaired couple with ailing child (video)
A young visually-impaired couple at Ariyawatte in Gandara, Matara earns a living by producing incense sticks and candles.
Their small daughter, in addition to having a hole-n-the-heart, underwent cataract surgery as a 23-day-old.
Sanjeewa Priyanga (32) and Nilmini Madhushika (21) say their livelihood has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Their meager earnings and the support of well-wishers have so far gone to treat their only child.
It will be a big meritorious deed if this family is given the support they need.
