Fog Forces Three SriLankan Jets To Land in Mattala
Three SriLankan Airlines flights scheduled to land at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake were diverted to Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport due to heavy fog blanketing the Katunayake area, on Wednesday (19) morning.
The affected flights originated from Mumbai, Riyadh, and Guangzhou, according to an official statement from SriLankan Airlines.
