Narcotics, mobile phones and SIM cards inside prisons
During a special operation conducted inside the Colombo Remand Prison today (12) 28 packets of narcotics, 05 mobile phones, 14 SIMs, 03 chargers, scissors and many other items were found.
Prison Media Spokesman Chandana Ekanayake stated that STF personnel on duty on the instructions of the Superintendent of Remand Prison and officers of the Remand and Welikada Prisons were involved in the operation.
