Heavy Rains and Winds Cause Tree Falls Across Colombo
According to the Colomo Municipal Council (CMC). Around 35 trees and branches have fallen in Colombo due to heavy rains and strong winds.
The CMC stated that most of these incidents occurred on private property.
Additionally, 10 trees and branches have been reported fallen from the Vihara Mahadevi Park.
The CMC added that five special teams have been deployed to clear fallen trees.
