Park and Ride to be extended to Piliyandala
It has been decided to expand the Park and Ride City bus service to several identified transport platforms soon.
Accordingly, it was decided at a discussion held yesterday to operate this service from the Piliyandala main bus stand as well, the Ministry of Transport announced.
The Minister of Transport Gamini Lokuge has instructed the officials to prepare a formal passenger transport schedule and take necessary steps to overcome the existing weaknesses in the city bus service and expand it further efficiently
