Air Force Prepares Helicopters for Flood Relief
The Sri Lanka Air Force has announced that helicopters are on standby to assist with flood relief efforts.
SLAF Spokesperson Group Captain Dushan Wijesinghe said that they are ready to provide necessary services as requested by the disaster management center.
Helicopters have been stationed at the Ratmalana, Hingurakgoda, and Palaly Air Force bases to ensure a swift response.
In addition, naval and army relief teams are actively working in areas affected by the floods, conducting operations to help those in need.
