Public servants called to office
The Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs and Local Government states that from tomorrow all public servants should be called to work and public institutions should be maintained as usual.
Secretary to the Ministry J.J. Ratnasiri stated that the decision was taken as the time has come to restore the country by maintaining proper public services.
A relevant circular was issued on 05 March. Accordingly, all public institutions should continue to follow the health guidelines to be followed for the health protection of public officers and the public.
The relevant circular further states that the responsibility for this will be given to the heads of the institutions
