Two More Suspects Arrested in Club Wasantha Murder Case
Sri Lanka Police have arrested two additional suspects in connection with the murder of Surendra Wasantha Perera, also known as Club Wasantha.
The suspects include an alleged shooter and the driver of the car used in the crime.
The arrests were made in Panadura, with the suspects identified as a 32-year-old resident of Nagoda and a 29-year-old resident of Ahungalla.
These arrests follow the earlier detention of the main shooter and three other individuals on August 23rd.
All suspects are currently being held for a 90-day interrogation period.
The murder occurred on July 8th, when Club Wasantha and another individual were shot dead while opening a tattoo parlor in Athurugiriya.
