Prime Minister Visits University of Peradeniya to Assess Disaster Damage
Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya visited the University of Peradeniya to assess the damage caused by the disasters.
A group including the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, Professor Terrence Madhujith were present.
The Prime Minister visited several faculties of the university and inspected the current situation.
Meanwhile, a special coordination committee meeting on post-disaster management activities was held at the Kegalle District Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Environment Dr. Dhammika Patabendi, regional politicians, government officials, and other representatives.
