Sri Lanka Police says Security arrangements underway for the presidential election
Sri Lanka police announced that security arrangements for the presidential election are currently being organized.
According to a senior police officer, plans are underway to deploy police officers for security duties of the presidential election.
Additionally, Police operation centers related to the presidential election have been established at the divisional level across the island.
Sri Lanka Police further announced that an election unit has been set up at every police station nationwide.
