Body of teen reported missing during floods recovered
Police said that the body of a 17-year-old boy who was reported missing after being swept away by flood waters yesterday has been discovered.
The teenager, who was a resident of Nabada in the Anguruwathota Police division was caught in the floods in the area yesterday.
Later, the body of the 17-year-old schoolboy was found yesterday near a palm cultivation land in the Udunuwara Grama Niladhari Division.
The body of the deceased has been placed in the Horana Hospital, and Anguruwathota Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
