4 members of organized criminal gangs arrested under Operation Yukthiya
Four more identified organized criminals have been arrested during Operation Yukthiya.
Police say that 95 out of 446 identified underworld criminals have been arrested since the 19th of March.
Police say that 62 of them are being interrogated based on detention orders.
Meanwhile, another 844 suspects were arrested in 24 hours, under Operation Yukthiya.
Among them, 798 suspects related to drug offenses are included.
The Ministry of Public Security says that 46 suspects who were on the list referred to the crime branch were also among those arrested.
Police have taken into custody stocks of drugs including heroin, ICE, cannabis and Mawa pills.
The police say that among the suspects arrested for drug offences, there are 24 suspects who were on the list referred to the Police Narcotics Bureau and the Police Special Bureau.
