Puttalam Illegal Liquor Dealer's Assets Worth Rs. 100 Million Frozen by Police!
The Illegal Assets Investigation Division says that the assets worth approximately 100 million rupees of an illegal liquor dealer who was arrested in Puttalam, Nabadawewa have been frozen for 7 days.
The police said that the Illegal Assets Investigation Division had launched an investigation against the individual.
Police say that when investigating the property acquired by the suspect, they took steps to freeze for a period of 7 days, the assets which include a lorry, a van, 3 paddy fields and two plots of land suspected to have been illegally acquired.
The Illegal Assets Investigation Division is conducting further investigations in this regard.
