Police to Reward Informants for Assisting in Weapons Seizures
Sri Lanka Police has unveiled a new initiative to incentivize the reporting of illegal weapons and explosives. Under this program, individuals who provide credible information leading to the detection and seizure of such contraband will receive cash awards.
Confidential informants, crucial allies in maintaining public safety, will be eligible for rewards based on the severity and type of weapon seized by law enforcement authorities.
