Tourism Earnings Soar by 53.2% in 2024

Sri Lanka's tourism sector experienced a significant boost in 2024, with earnings estimated at USD 3,169 million, compared to USD 2,068 million in 2023.

This marks a year-on-year growth of 53.2%. In December 2024 alone, tourism earnings were estimated at USD 362 million.
