
Sri Lanka Inflation Rises to 6.5% in January
Inflation in Sri Lanka climbed to 6.5% in January 2024.
This represents a significant jump from December 2023's 4.2%, according to data released by the Department of Census and Statistics.
The Department of Census and Statistics reported that food inflation reached 4.1% in January, compared to 1.6% the previous month.
