2023 tax revenue: Update from Govt.
The Department of Inland Revenue has reported a significant increase in tax revenue for the first half of 2023.
According to the department, collection soared to Rs. 696,946 million in the first half of this year.
The department added this was nearly doubling last year’s figures of Rs. 361,832 million reported during the same period.
