Legal approval granted to implement number portability service in Sri Lanka
The Director-General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRC) Oshadha Senanayake stated at a media briefing held at the Presidential Media Center today that legal approval has been granted for the number portability service.
Mobile number portability (MNP) enables mobile telephone users to retain their mobile telephone numbers when changing from one mobile network carrier to another.
