US Dollar reports highest value against SL Rupee in 7 months
The exchange rates of the US Dollar have increased for the first time since 04 May, 2020, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) reported.
As per the CBSL’s currency exchange rates for today, the US Dollar’s buying rate was Rs. 188.01, while its selling rate was Rs. 193.05.
The Sri Lankan Rupee faced a decline in the 2nd quarter of 2020 due to the global coronavirus pandemic, with the US Dollar being sold at Rs. 200.00 on 08 April, 2020.
