Covid-19 cases rise sharply as 201 more test positive
Sri Lanka has reported 201 more positive cases of Covid-19 this evening, says the Army Chief Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.
According to reports, 140 of them are close contacts of the virus-infected persons linked to Peliyagoda Fish Market.
Twenty-four other positive cases were identified from various fisheries harbours across the country.
Meanwhile, the remaining 37 infections have been detected from quarantine centres.
