Rs.50 dispute: Man wanted for killing Ratmalana restaurant owner arrested.
The suspect wanted for the stabbing and killing of the restaurant owner in the Ratmalana area recently was arrested, the police said.
The knife used by the suspect has also been taken into police custody.
On the 22nd of May, the suspect had come to sell Jackfruit and demanded Rs. 250 for it and it has been revealed in the police investigation that the murder was committed based on an argument after the owner of the restaurant told him that he could pay only Rs. 200.
The suspect, who fled after the crime, was arrested in Ratmalana area based on a tip-off received by the police. The 31-year-old suspect is a resident of Ratmalana.
